Player of the Year - BRADLEY O CONNOR

A change of position this season due to injuries to key players, meant this player had to come to the plate. And he did. He has been strong, dedicated and consistant in both training and matches. I can always rely on him to do a great job in any position and also with his ability as a dead ball specialist. Another player who had come through since the under 9s and been fundamental to the teams success. It is also worth noting he was in second in this years players player votes and Parents award so I feel a very worthy winner accross the board.

Managers Special Award - SAM CARTER

A massive addition to the squad, not just as a player but a personality too. Training is always a pleasure him about, and coupled with his tough tackling, incredible workrate and a winning attitude, he is a player that I have really enjoyed coaching.

Most Improved Player - JOE COOK

After only his second season this player has developed massively. His workrate and attitude continue to grow as does his ability. A popular player amongst the team ,he has shown that with hard work, dedication and enthusiasm you can acomplish anything - a great season in the top flight!

Sportsman of the Year - SUNIL CHEEMA

Since being with the team at under 9s, this player has fast become one of the most feared defenders I have seen. Not the biggest, but a fierce tackler that reads the game superbly, super quick and is nigh on impossible to get past. He has had another excellent season and like all the boys has developed so much. A please to coach.

Roy Henderson Award - JOSH GREEN

Developed beyond belief in his six seasons with Gima. His heading ability is incredible but this season he has added vision and passing to his game. His attitude is first class and has a hunger and passion to do well that rubs off on the team. Has an infectious character and through his hard work and commitment established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet.

Players Player of the Year - JACK BOYD

His best ever season. He improved so much last season but he raised his game to match the high standard we were playing against this season. I think of all his attributes this season he has developed positional awareness and has outwitted and defended against some of the top players in the county perfectly. Outstanding and totally deserved.
